When Doing a Phone Interview, What Sound Quality is Best?

Interviews by telephone should have the same quality sound on both sides.

My method is to record using my Sony player. That file is saved as a.wav. The difference between an MP3 and a.wav file? It is larger and has better quality. It is possible to save the.wav file to your computer before you convert it. This is because you might want to use it if you plan to burn a CD Rom or create physical products. It would be great to have a higher quality recording. You may also want to record interviews in stereo. Although I no longer work with physical products, that would be a good idea. Upload your recording to your Goldwav software. You can save it as a stereo or a.wav format which is very good quality. You can save that file if you decide to sell a physical product.

However, I keep mine as an MP3-mono. It has numbers. It is 22,050 hertz and HZ-mono. 24kpbs and kilobytes/second are some of the numbers. This number is important because audio terminator allows me to upload my edited audio interview and it converts it into the play button. You must upload it at this speed. It won’t convert it if you don’t. It must be at this speed to play the Internet’s play buttons.

You should also consider the file size. Audio interviews are very viral. These files will be large if you want a high quality recording. Although the Internet speeds are improving, it may still be a 50-megabyte file. People will get frustrated if they wait for it to download.

It’s manageable at the rate I’ve given you, the files don’t seem that large, and they could be sent around via email.

Quality is fine. It is excellent. People who complain about the audio quality are not interested in it. They want to hear the information. A good audio recording is acceptable. It’s possible to improve the quality. I will be the first to admit that I need to increase it. It’s working right now for me.

Another thing, and this is something I have heard before: it can sound almost like a car salesman wearing a three-piece suit walking towards you. It’s not always perfect or professional, but it can be attractive to people. It should sound just like it would sound if you were talking to someone on the phone.
